  2. The1Kidneythief says:

@hassankalaldeh I really think that King Abdullah is an intelligent person. But he is a little naive if he thinks that the threat from Iran will dissapear if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be solved. By supporting Hezbollah and Hamas, Iran is obviously taking part in the conflict itself!

  3. TheArmo1 says:

@thewinterchill really? Are you a jordanian citizen? Because I am, my family are, my friends are, over 45 people I know, and the majority of jordanians unconditionally support their King.

  4. MrMADGirlz says:

Im from Jordan :) Long live King Abdullah :)

  5. Xzibillion says:

he us actually a descendant of Prophet Muhammed.

  6. TedDGPoulos says:

Check out The underlying law of nature. Bing or Google it. Discovered relatively recently, it is possibly the world’s most useful knowledge. One of countless reasons–its understanding and application is the most effective and efficient means to improve the performance of any process.

  8. jsvjuggernaut says:

because it has “intelligent” citizens like u

  9. lambsev says:

Why are we in the USA unable to solve our economic woes? Because God is against the prosperity of a nation that routinely slaughters 25% of it’s unborn.

  10. lovelikeajonas says:

is the crown prince of jordan here to?

  11. newtype64 says:

King Abdullah is an apostate ruler. He has completely betrayed the Muslims. He is in bed with America as Millions of us are being killed for cheap oil. Islam is not about monarchy or a puppet run dictators. These men have completely went against the teachings of Islam in their actions and need to be taken out of power at once. America always supports these backwards regimes in the Muslim world to advance its own goals.

  12. misarah01 says:

    # thewinterchill, yes i agree with u that the king does not reflect the majority of the public sentiment but i am telling u he reflects the voices of so many Jordanians, and i mean so many. the good news is that the no. of people interested in peace is increasing rapidly lately where more and more people are interested in real peace with Israel. We want peace built on mutual respect, understanding and opportunities. This is the real challenge, working on the attitudes of people twrds peace.

  13. coolshgirl says:

yes it was at least i saw part of it on the jordanian tv :D !

  14. MsDutchfox says:

I suggest a Nobel Peace prize for King Abdullah and Queen Rania for their humanitarian and peace efforts!!!!!!!!

  15. Objectiveman says:

Very wise words from King Abdullah , he really makes sense.

  16. jordan2007faisal says:

I belive in him as a unique Leader with visition of future

  17. mvc000 says:

This is an eye-opening/mind-opening discussion towards future possibilities. Predicting the future is very tricky and very much probabilistic rather than being deterministic.

Brainstorming future scenarios is very helpful, but the more we go into the future, the more “wilder” options rise.

It is not easy for those completely consumed by daily operational/tactical activities to leap into the future and think/plan strategically for the next 25 years, 50 years, or even 100 years.

  18. 0052784 says:

Jordan now is way much better than before, we as young jordanian can witness that through so many things . But that dosen’t mean that we don’t have any challenges, the challenges still there but we the young jordanian will go through it. I hope we all think the same way his majesty think about Jordan.

  19. 0052784 says:

Am from Jordan, and I think that was a very logic speech from his majesty, yes the core of crisis in this part of the world is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Jordan is not a substitutional country and the palestanian themselves realize that and they also refuse it.

  24. thewinterchill says:

He could have been more forthcoming by pointing out that Israeli society is largely anti compromise and that is very much reflected in the Israeli parliament where anti peace parties hold a majority of 2:1. Then he failed to remind his audience that one of the reasons for Iran’s drive to acquire nuclear weapons is that Israel has had them for almost 40 years and Iran is concerned about Israel’s hegemony.

  25. thewinterchill says:

Some of the things he says make sense but he certainly does not reflect public sentiment in Jordan when speaking about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This is a common problem with Arab politicians when speaking in English to a largely Western audience. They try to appear even handed and moderate at the expense of remind their audience of root cause of the conflict which is the creation of Israel at the expense of the Palestinian people.
