    @timsdonuts its flash memory that is either bga or smd soldered to the board, apple uses a strong epoxy to cover and leaves little or no remove, with other resistors so close, that the chips are not removable friendly, leaving no pathway for upgrades. Would need to purchase the higher capacity model.
