  12. AsktheTechies says:

@Simon95able If you are referring to the Newton, I guess it depends on how you define “tablet” …most people view it as a handheld device. The Newton was way ahead of it’s time, but when Steve Jobs came back on board, he decided to ditch it due to profit margins and the fact that it John Sculley’s creation (the guy who ousted Steve jobs back in the 80′s).

  13. AsktheTechies says:

I must officially deny that Ask the Techies is part of the Dharma Initiative. ;-)

  14. Simon95able says:

  24. tencruise says:

Dang Its all Ipod touch and iphone concept that Steve Jobs carrying on.I hate to say that apple tablet is nothing but piece of Junk. Its only good for gaming and Graphic designers. If more to say then professional use only.

  25. AsktheTechies says:

Depends on what you do. I do not expect the Apple Tablet to be able to run Photoshop CS4. For Graphics folks, the Wacom will be hard to beat. You do raise a good question as to whether the tablet “iSlate” will be able to connect to a computer and serve as a wacom-like device. Hmmm, tune in in late January for answers. :-)

  26. While numerous application programs can be particularly serviceable in the initial stage is short-term, exactly a matter of time ahead some of its applications programmes will be interchanged by iPad earned for enormous screens. Many of them are not needed, only used as a regular web browser, like Facebook, for example, alternatively of a smaller version of the iPhone to use … :)

  27. Wonderful write-up. I recently stumbled upon your blog and wanted to convey that I have truly relished reading your web site posts. Anyhow I will be opting-in to your RSS.
