I have had my nook for the better half of 3 weeks. I have read 3 books since and it is pleasurable and very comfortable to read with.

  8. PACSLeader says:

no its cost nothing for the 3g which runs on att network

  9. PanicRox11 says:

Does wifi cost money when you’re not at Barnes and Noble? and does it cost money to look for books to buy (just look) using the nook??Thanks

agreed, however you might wana look into the HP Slate, windows seven enabled and it could be cheaper than its $500 apple counterpart. (supposed to be the price of a mobile phone) the ipad isnt multi tasking has no new apps

  11. mnguyea says:

the flicker between pages is god awful and irritating. Who designed these things? Some 2 bit drop out from industrial design and programing school. Both are a mess.

I’m not an applefan boy but man give me the max-ipad to read over these two any day.

On second thought, I’d just rather buy a real paper book.

  16. munsayac13 says:

    Can Anyone answer me please….

I would like to know if nook allows read any pdf files that come from my computer or would it only allow read pdf files strictly downloaded from the estores?

  17. fishblade2 says:

also does the touchscreen light up every time you simply change the page? That wastes way too much power if so..

  18. fishblade2 says:

can the nook allow you type information in a certain page just like if you were adding information in the margin of books? I know the kindle will allow you to do that but I don’t know if the nook will.

Dude, i gotta sit back and relax while this thing blinks and bloops to a reformat? Too clunky me things. I aint got time to relax when Im reading.
GO BACK TO SOUND LAB FOR THE VOLUME? im waiting for the next generation of nook. Thanks!

  21. Dpiiiius says:

that technology is REALLY advanced and expensive but should be released in the very near future, expect to see it around 2012-2014

  22. gvcdkg says:

One of the few hands on videos of the nook. That’s great but could be more helpful if you did a couple if things different. Like being a lot closer to the nook. Can’t see a thing on the LCD color when your sooo far away. There is a point about not having a button for audio but it’s not really to be mp3 player. I just think it’s a plus. Would really like to see what a PDF file looks on it. And if the front cover and be exchanged to or just the back.

  23. Marcham89 says:

….I hate when ppl ask a question they can just google.

    ….that being said…

    it’s 2.59 plus tax…

  24. bittiemoobs says:

…. dude, you’re sitting on your computer asking a question that can simply by answered by going on google.

    …that being said…

    it’s 249 plus tax

  25. Darkdakitty says:

Understand its not limited to color ink issues, its a matter of the file it reads. the pdf file needs to be in the color… :D there are ways around ur issues just be smart about it.
