Barnes & Noble Nook Screen Shield + Case Install

Hey guys, my mom was kind enough to let me play with her Nook once again today. In this video you’ll see a screen shield install plus a silicone case install. I apologize ahead of time for the camera work as well as my not so energetic approach today. Its funny how toned down things get when people are watching. LOL Anyway, don’t forget to follow at www.twitter.com and be sure to check out www.technologybrat.com. Take it easy guys!

Also, if the glass is anything like the glass used in iphones it’ll be scratched up with hairlines in notime. In the end its all about keeping your device in likenew condition, especially if you have any intention on reselling it down the road and making a large portion of your money back.

You are right about the E-Ink screen being pretty tough, but at the same time, I like to protect my investments, especially expensive little devices such as this. You just never know when your gonna drop the device or drop something on it or whatever, for me, its a better safe than sorry scenario. Also, the matte screen protector acts and behaves like an anti-glare so whatever glare you do get his quite reduced by the matte finish of the screen protector.

To me the e-ink screen is pretty hardy, and can withstand a lot of abuse. Plus, putting a screen protector on it would cause added clare, which is really the whole point with a e-ink screen… no glare. Also, the capacitive touch screen is tempered glass, and really doesn’t need any protection. Just a thought.

@TechnologyBrat that is the only thing i dont like about it everything sticks to it and it doesent come off. but i like the case overall for a cheaper case rather than the 70 dollar ones.

How do you like the case loungo? I only had my hands on it for just a few minutes but it seemed really tacky and I figured it to collect a ton of dust. Is that the case for you?

  9. loungo1567 says:

thats awesome i got the silicone case too except in blue.
