Ebooks have become and inseparable part of the new frontier of cyberspace. They are a great medium for sharing marketing information, ideas, techniques, and expert knowledge. Ebooks can assist small business website owners market their sites and in some cases even become a source of revenue. Having said that, let’s look at what makes ebooks so important and so unique.
“Ebooks have unique characteristics that printed books can’t match. For example, ebooks are relatively easy to produce and they can be inexpensive to produce. Just think about it: you don’t need a publisher, an agent, a printing press, offset film, ink, paper, or even a distributor. You just need a great concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software.
“Ebooks can be easily updated. As information changes, ebooks can be updated without a second print run. All you need is to go into your original creation and modify the text or graphics. Because of this flexibility, ebooks can change and grow as fast as you can type.
“Ebooks are convenient. You don’t have to go to a bookstore or search through endless titles at an online bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website, and presto! It’s on your computer, ready to be read.
Private Label Rights Articles (PLR) are a fantastic way to add new content to your website http://www.Free-Plr-Article.com
“Ebooks are interactive. This is one of the most unique and specific qualities that ebooks offer. You can add surveys that need to be filled out, order forms for customers to purchase your products or goods, sound and video that draw your reader into the virtual world of your ebook, even direct links to relevant sites that will expand your ebook outward. The potential is virtually limitless.
“Ebooks have a particular kind of permanence that other mediums do not possess. Television shows and radio shows air once, and then may rerun a few times. Ebooks remain on your computer for as long as your choose, and they can be read and reread whenever you choose to. They can even be printed out and stored on the shelves of your traditional home library.
“Ebooks have very low entrance barriers. You don’t need to go through the endless process of submitting your manuscript over and over again, and then once you land an agent, having the agent submit your manuscript over and over again. Nor do you have to shell out thousands of dollars for printing a self-published book. All ebooks require is a writer and appropriate software.

Why Should You Write Ebooks for Your Niche Market
I reckon there’s a lot of truth in the saying that there’s a book inside everyone. In the context of internet marketing and, especially niche marketing, there is probably more than one.
It’s not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Even if it was, we would need to consider when it was written and how things have dramatically changed since.
The fact is that there is no better time to write an eBook than now.
With the ever increasing number of information hungry readers and surfers, the internet needs more and more innovative and creative writers who can provide quality solutions to identified problems. The problems may be new or the solutions may be new ways to solve old problems.
As technology evolves, as gifted software designers create more advanced techniques, eBooks continue to evolve at the same pace. From the standard static page to the inclusion of audio and, now video, eBooks are a powerful tool for writers with fresh and original ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are looking for the “answer” to their problems and challenges.
Remember, as technology advances, as new techniques are discovered or created, new problems are also created and these problems need answers.
What’s even better news is that publishing an eBook is not just different from publishing a book in print, it’s a lot quicker and whole lot cheaper.
O.K. here we are with our online businesses with quality websites, informative and content rich pleasing both the search engines and our visitors. We also have quality products and services to offer these visitors.
An eBook is not only one of the most powerful ways to promote our businesses, it also serves to promote ourselves as an authority on a given subject, theme or niche. It build credibility and trust (over time) while entertaining and educating our visitors with the knowledge we already possess as business owners of specific products or services.
You can probably think of as many examples as I can, whether it’s gardening, rearing horses, interior design, looking after pets, health and fitness – the list is absolutely endless as is the thirst for knowledge. I bet you are ready now. Ready to share your knowledge, your experience, your expertise.
An eBook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience for your chosen niche or area of expertise.
So, as I said, eBooks will not only promote your business – they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your chosen field.
Given the depth of knowledge you have and the subject matter you are able to write about, heck there could be a whole series of eBooks just waiting to be written.
In fact depending on the levels of complexity or the different sub topics that need to be covered, putting everything into one eBook may not be a good idea. Why?
• Takes too long to write before publishing
• The size may even put off potential readers
• It’s important that readers grasp fully the different aspects you wish to cover
• Remember the best way to eat an elephant is one chunk at a time!
People are searching for information every day and the most common reason for that is they are looking for the ways, the how to make their online business more profitable. There will always be gaps to be filled.
Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity, to find the gaps. Research what’s out there already, and try to find the void that your eBook might fill.
You don’t have to have master’s degrees to write about your subject. I would argue that depending on the subject matter, this may definitely need to be put to one side!
People are looking to the writers of eBooks to provide them with advice and guidance that is easy to understand, easy to read. They are looking for those new ideas and those how-to strategies.
What I do need to say before looking at publishing your eBook is to remind you that we have a duty of care to our customers and potential customers. Rightly or wrongly there is an expectation that writers of eBooks are experts in their chosen field. We have, therefore, the responsibility to produce quality – quality information, quality advice.

Should Technology Have a Place in the Classroom?
What is the best way to incorporate the rise of new technologies into the ancient art of education? Should they even be complementary in the first place? Although most teachers still ask that cell phones, Ipods, and other electronic devices be kept in students’ backpacks or left at home, several new electronic innovations and techniques of using technology have begun to gain popularity in the academic community.
This month’s New York Times Magazine featured new ways in which schools are using gadgets, games, and cell phones to supplement their students’ curriculum. Among these is the Apple Ipad, which many premium publishers have used to publish their textbooks and add interactive features onto the applications. While many believe that technology can have a negative effect on a child’s attention span or reading comprehension skills, Evan Schnittman, of Bloomsbury Publishing, believes the Ipad will encourage more readership among students. He claims that “‘students will buy one for entertainment, then realize it’s the perfect reader.’”
Another example of the meeting of technology and education is taking shape in the form of academically-oriented cell phones. One gadget featured by the NYT article is the Nexus One Smartphone, which schools are now using to have students “test the air for carbon monoxide, particulate matter, and noise pollution.” Another, the NOAH, allows its users to take photos of bugs, trees, or even historical landmarks, and the cell phone will identify the object being photographed. While showing a cell phone in class used to be grounds for punishment, now such phones are supplementing what used to be a text-only education.
Proponents to using technology in the classroom believe that students are already surrounded by electronics while outside of school, and to ignore the potential functionality of new devices is to eliminate an innovative, interactive method of sharing information.
Opponents believe that using technology in the classroom is too distracting and too unreliable. Furthermore, they believe that books carry an inherent value that will be lost if electronic readers become widespread.
Should technology have a place in the classroom? How should new technological advancements be incorporated into the academic environment?
