As an Internet entreprenuer, what is your goal?

Is it really money? Yes money is very important. Is it fame? Yes that can be important, but is not a defining factor in success.

What is the point of being an entrepreneur anyway? It’s freedom. After all, you don’t want to work that 9-5, wasting the other 16 hours of your time earning no money, being told when to wake up, when to have your lunch breaks, when to go home, and when you have to work over-time.

This means your goal is have more free time, and earn more money. Not work harder, and earn more money.

Worker’s goal = Work more, earn more

Now, as an Internet entrepreneur, one of your main tasks is always to find information. After all, on the Internet, content is all that matters.

But where do you spend your time? If you spend 80% of your time on creating content, that means you only have 20% left for marketing activities. You want to do the opposite – 80% for marketing, 20% for creating content. This will make you more money.

Now, one way to create content is to hire a ghostwriter. That can be expensive. Especially if you create information products.

A faster way is to simply collect articles from your niche, and rewrite 80% of it. Nobody can stop you legally, as long as you change the main whole of the article.

Hey, this is better than writing the article from scratch right? This is a high leverage method of using other people’s knowledge to your own advantage.

There are a large number of ways that you can make money online and yes a lot of this can be done or no or low costs but it is very easy to be lead astray by the latest over hyped Guru or Clickbank offer, many are very good but their income claims are questionable and in other cases it is rehashed “stuff” you would “not give away to your grandmother”

It is easy to allow yourself to get sucked into all the special “one time” offers. Some of them are great and the value of what you are getting far exceeds the price you are paying but in other cases this is simply not true.

Luckily if you have time there are ways that you can make lots of money online for free or at low cost. Lets look at some of these opportunities:-

Freelance Writing – Have good writing skills? If so, why not become a freelance writer and produce money, writing articles for other people. There are many freelance sites that you can join to provide your writing service.

Affiliate Marketing – You can become an affiliate and promote products that are not your own and earn generous commission of 50% plus from each sale, or receive a much smaller payment per lead, or you can get paid from clicks generated through your affiliate link. Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online as there is a huge earning potential. However there can be a lot of costs if you use Pay Per Click advertising methods so generation of ideally free or low cost traffic has to be key and you must measure the results!

Blogging – You can earn money from blogging and if you are good at writing and you find it fun and can write in an informative way – then why not use your core skill. It is easy to do and in most cases articles can be published for free. Here are some ideas:- offering direct advertisements, publishing sponsored posts, and promoting affiliate offers on blogs. However if using major sites they may have rules about cross promotion and if so you may get your articles blocked.

Online Surveys – If you have some time, there are many companies that need your opinion on a wide range of topics, usually products and services. These companies are willing to potentially pay you for your opinion. You simply join a legitimate online survey site and complete surveys online and you earn a certain amount per survey completed. It is however a much more competitive sector but there is still lots of money to be made online and the market is worldwide and huge.

ebook downloads – 2 ways to downlaod unlimited ebooks for the ipad

I am a book fan and am constantly looking for new content including news and current affairs and novels and books. I gain a lot of news via the internet but like to be able to have it saved on my ipad i found this difficult to find without having to subscribe to the individual different news services which is very costly.

I get books from many sources including swapping with friends, small individual publishers who share their content free online and also a great site called Scribd this is a great service and allows your to download loads of free content including full books and novels if you search hard. However there are some questions on some of the books as to if they are being published by the author. But then other times you find tasters of books and novels to download then links to buy the books. I like scribd but it does also contain a lot of pointless and useless content and can take forever to load.

My friend recommended a service to me called “The Novel Network” where he said I could download all the books, papers, novels and more.
