Write Ebooks – 3 Writing Tips That Make Ebooks Sell

Write Ebooks – 3 Writing Tips That Make Ebooks Sell

Write Ebooks – 3 Writing Tips That Make Ebooks Sell

Want to write ebooks? This hot trend on the internet doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. In fact, information publishing is on the rise. It used to be that if you wanted to be taken seriously, you needed to first publish your work as a traditional printed book, but this is no longer true. In fact, right now, I can rattle off ten top name internet authors, who built their fortunes and their platforms around a single ebook. So how do you get your piece of the pie?

First of all, before you write a single word, do your research and find a hungry market. Don’t make the mistake that most authors make: they write ebooks and then try to find markets to sell them to. This is backwards. Find a hungry market first and then give them exactly what they’re looking for. Believe me, if you do this, readers will flock to you in droves.

This leads to the second step. Following it will ensure that you write ebooks that sell like hotcakes. In addition to finding a hungry market, you must do the research first and find out exactly what this market needs and wants. What are their problems, worries, and fears, in other words, what keeps them up at night? When you know what your market wants, you can give it to them in the form of an ebook that they will pay you top dollar for. Your ebook must not only promise your market the answer to their problems, it must deliver the solution.

Third, create a profile of your perfect customer. Is your target customer a man or woman? What is this customer’s age? What is their background? What do they want most? Why?

When you know your target customer, you can write ebooks and sales letters that speak directly to your customers. The final result? Your target customer feels like you know her, she feels like you’ve been walking in her shoes. She believes that you know the answer and trusts you to show her the way to a solution. Achieving this requires that you get inside your customer’s heart and head, that you know her from the inside out. Only then can you speak the language that will make the customer want to take out her wallet before she’s finished reading all your sales copy and buy your ebook.

Although following these three tips will require in-depth research on your part, it is time well spent. Write ebooks in this way and not only will your work sell like hotcakes, you will create value for your customers and be able to produce ebooks in record time.

Why Should You Write Ebooks for Your Niche Market

Why Should You Write Ebooks for Your Niche Market

Why Should You Write Ebooks for Your Niche Market

I reckon there’s a lot of truth in the saying that there’s a book inside everyone. In the context of internet marketing and, especially niche marketing, there is probably more than one.

It’s not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Even if it was, we would need to consider when it was written and how things have dramatically changed since.

The fact is that there is no better time to write an eBook than now.

With the ever increasing number of information hungry readers and surfers, the internet needs more and more innovative and creative writers who can provide quality solutions to identified problems. The problems may be new or the solutions may be new ways to solve old problems.

As technology evolves, as gifted software designers create more advanced techniques, eBooks continue to evolve at the same pace. From the standard static page to the inclusion of audio and, now video, eBooks are a powerful tool for writers with fresh and original ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are looking for the “answer” to their problems and challenges.

Remember, as technology advances, as new techniques are discovered or created, new problems are also created and these problems need answers.

What’s even better news is that publishing an eBook is not just different from publishing a book in print, it’s a lot quicker and whole lot cheaper.

O.K. here we are with our online businesses with quality websites, informative and content rich pleasing both the search engines and our visitors. We also have quality products and services to offer these visitors.

An eBook is not only one of the most powerful ways to promote our businesses, it also serves to promote ourselves as an authority on a given subject, theme or niche. It build credibility and trust (over time) while entertaining and educating our visitors with the knowledge we already possess as business owners of specific products or services.

You can probably think of as many examples as I can, whether it’s gardening, rearing horses, interior design, looking after pets, health and fitness – the list is absolutely endless as is the thirst for knowledge. I bet you are ready now. Ready to share your knowledge, your experience, your expertise.

An eBook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience for your chosen niche or area of expertise.

So, as I said, eBooks will not only promote your business – they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your chosen field.

Given the depth of knowledge you have and the subject matter you are able to write about, heck there could be a whole series of eBooks just waiting to be written.

In fact depending on the levels of complexity or the different sub topics that need to be covered, putting everything into one eBook may not be a good idea. Why?

• Takes too long to write before publishing

• The size may even put off potential readers

• It’s important that readers grasp fully the different aspects you wish to cover

• Remember the best way to eat an elephant is one chunk at a time!

People are searching for information every day and the most common reason for that is they are looking for the ways, the how to make their online business more profitable. There will always be gaps to be filled.

Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity, to find the gaps. Research what’s out there already, and try to find the void that your eBook might fill.

You don’t have to have master’s degrees to write about your subject. I would argue that depending on the subject matter, this may definitely need to be put to one side!

People are looking to the writers of eBooks to provide them with advice and guidance that is easy to understand, easy to read. They are looking for those new ideas and those how-to strategies.

What I do need to say before looking at publishing your eBook is to remind you that we have a duty of care to our customers and potential customers. Rightly or wrongly there is an expectation that writers of eBooks are experts in their chosen field. We have, therefore, the responsibility to produce quality – quality information, quality advice.

How To Write An Ebook For Internet Profits

How To Write An Ebook For Internet Profits

Initially it may appear a daunting prospect, yet how to write an eBook is much easier than you think when you break it down into easy steps. From the research that you have taken in your niche market you should have a very good idea of just what your market is looking for in an eBook. In effect, you are providing the answer to the questions that your niche market is asking.

Your eBook should target one aspect that you have identified as there being a demand for information on. The easiest tactic is to provide the answers to the actual questions that the niche have been asking. You can easily located such questions being asked in various forums relating to your niche, on Yahoo Answers and other public forums. If you have a real affinity with the niche and have experience of it, you will be able to place yourself in a position that many may find themselves in, such as a beginner and understand their concerns and problems.

Think about the challenges and difficulties you faced in the early days, think about the frustrations and how they were solved. You need to ask the question of what does the niche want to learn and also need to learn. Remember, they may want some type of information but in addition they also need to be provided with something more to ensure their progress. Plus, you need to find out what information the niche wants more of. It may well be that there is already lots of information readily available but it is only to a certain level or does not go into sufficient detail. Don’t forget that niches have sub and sub, sub niches for you to market to.

Another great type of information that is always in demand is how you can save them time or money or even both. Who would not want such information to help them progress and remember, information that will offer such a prospect is a great seller. In addition to this, think about if your niche faces frustration, pain even, and how you can alleviate this. Don’t you think that people would be willing to pay you for a solution to their discomfort? Again, that is a great seller if you can prove you have the information that will really help them.

Going back to the time theme, how about offering information that will help the niche save time by offering a shortcut method? If the results are the same yet much of the hassles and effort is eliminated, this really is a golden opportunity for your internet business success. Also, has there been a time when you have wakened up during the night with your mind racing to try to find a solution to a problem? Your niche market will also have experienced this and if you can pinpoint a certain topic of the niche and provide a solution, you can position yourself as the niche’s problem solver.

There is a huge demand for information across thousands of niches and once you have undertaken research it should be much easier to approach the issue of how to write an eBook. Just ask yourself these questions and by utilising the results of the research, you will then be in a position to start creating and building a niche eBook internet business by following a step by step proven and workable plan that anyone can use and profit from.

Everything you need to be up and running with your own eBook business is contained in this very unique complete course. Let’s say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, “Why? Want To Write An Ebook? Here’s What You Need To Know

Want To Write An Ebook? Here’s What You Need To Know

Want To Write An Ebook? Here’s What You Need To Know

You’ve heard about the successes of ebook authors and are wondering if you should write one too. In this article, you’ll learn more about information marketing and the questions that you should ask yourself to figure out if this is a direction that makes sense for you.

First, a little bit of inspiration. About four years ago, I purchased an ebook for from a then little-known author, named Joel Comm. This ebook explained how to make more money from your web site using an advertising tool called Google Adsense. Joel sold so many copies of this ebook, he attracted attention from a major New York publisher who negotiated a deal to publish his work as a traditional book. Since this book would compete with other books on the shelves on related topics, it could not be priced at . Instead, it sold for about per copy. But that didn’t bother Joel because now he was making a second stream of income from his content.

If you read this story closely, you’ll see that the benefits of writing an ebook are clear. An ebook can help you create a platform of readers online. This platform can translate to success in the world of traditionally published books. Your content can be repurposed, first as an ebook and then as a book.

Joel’s ebook made him into an online and offline celebrity. It also made him a lot of money. He’s since gone on to write an ebook about Twitter, the latest rage on the web.

So should you write an ebook? Here are three important questions to ask yourself:

Do I have information that people need or want and would be willing to pay me for? If your answer to this question is no, are you willing to do the research to find out which problems your target market is desperate to solve and then write an ebook all about it?

Can I put a unique twist on this information so that my work stands separate from the pack and is not just another me-too book?

Can I write like I’m talking to a friend? Realize that you don’t need to be a Hemingway to write an ebook. Case in point: I have read countless ebooks that were written by people whose spelling and grammar were not perfect. I continued reading these less-than-perfect ebooks because they were full of excellent information. (Of course, if you know that you are not good at spelling or grammar, then hire an editor (or at least, a good friend) to look over your book and make suggestions and corrections.)

Am I willing to learn how to put up a simple web site to market and sell my ebook? With all the tools available today, even a person without a technical bone in their body can learn how to put up a simple web site that attracts readers who are looking to buy their information products.

If you answered yes to the questions above, then you may be feeling excited at the prospect of writing your first ebook. Use this excitement to take action. If you write an ebook and do it right, it could be the start of a new career, a way of making some extra money or even an online empire.

Write an Ebook: How to Get Started Writing and Selling Ebooks

Write an Ebook: How to Get Started Writing and Selling Ebooks

Writing an ebook is quite simple, and here’s the best advice I can give: Start writing!

Sure, you need an idea first, but I bet you have one. But wait…before you decide that your memoir will make a great ebook, it’s important to realize the following:

Ebooks are generally the domain of “how to” and “self-help” literature. It would be difficult to get buyers for, say, your autobiography, unless you already have an audience (for example, you have a popular blog, you’re a bit of a celebrity in your field, etc.). Unfortunately, a book about your life’s trials and accomplishments wouldn’t be nearly as easy to sell as a book titled “How to Make Money Playing Video Games” or “How to Get 6-Pack Abs in 18 Seconds a Day.”

So be careful to pick a niche that lends itself to ebook sales — take a look at some successful ebooks for guidance. Ebook authors like to talk about a “desperate niche.” That is, a niche that solves problems to which people are desperately seeking answers.  For this reason, you’re going to see a ton of ebooks revolving around the subjects of relationships, weight-loss, money-making, etc.

You want to set yourself apart from the pack, but hopefully there is some “desperation” in your subject matter.

Once you have your idea, just open up your word processor and type away. Eventually, you will probably want to make it a PDF, and you can do that for free down the road. When it comes time to sell your ebook, you can submit it to various sites that sell it for you (e.g., Lulu.com, or even Amazon), and you set-up your own site.  In my experience, the most sales come from your own dedicated sales page, and not from these other sites.

The hardest part about selling an ebook isn’t the writing: It’s setting up an effective website and promoting your book. Afterall, nobody will buy it if you’re not getting traffic. For help publishing and selling your ebook (at no upfront cost to you!), check out MisterEbooks.com.
