Zinio Coupon Codes Make Future of Magazine Reading More Accessible

Okay. So there’s already Amazon’s Kindle, a pioneering software and hardware platform for reading digital books. But what about the future of magazines in the digital age? Surely, magazines are among the next in the line of media products that have to make the transition from paper to the Web. In today’s market, there are about a billion print magazine copies delivered every year in the U.S. alone! However, the times and technologies may require a new revolutionized reading experience.

The answer might just come in the form of Zinio. Haven’t heard of it? It is a new digital magazine publishing service that offers a complete solution for readers of today’s generation who want their print editions transformed into an interactive digital form. Like with traditional published media, with Zinio you can turn one digital page after the next, navigate easily, and have the same full-color layout and design of your favorite titles recast into a digital format. You can even use Zinio coupon codes to slash the prices off your subscriptions. Unlike with print copies, with Zinio you can zoom in and zoom out with a simple mouse scroll – among many other amazing features.

Comic books, magazines, classics, cook books, text books, coffee table books, travel stories and collections, and other content-heavy media products and publications: Zinio has an impressive library of all these, which you can access easily with a simple search button. It’s that easy to connect to digital – not to mention, interactive – content. And it’s also that immersive. This is because Zinio combines the best features of traditional and online publishing into a solution that’s unlike any other. Turn a page of National Geographic with a click of a mouse. Read through an ad in Time that morphs into a video. Click the name of the celebrity in Vanity Fair whom you would want to know more about. Read the latest issue of Rolling Stone at your favorite café, using your laptop or iPhone. Subscribe to The Economist using coupon codes without having to cut them from a news clipping or a magazine insert. With Zinio, you don’t just read the magazine. You experience it, in the best way that tradition and digital technology can possibly make. And that’s without having to purchase a special mobile reading device, like Amazon’s Kindle requires.

The magazines at Zinio also allow you to share anything that you may have found interesting. Yes, you can spread the word, the digital word! With the “Share This” option, Zinio makes it possible to E-mail digital magazine and publication content to a friend. Or you can post it on your Facebook wall, even Tweet it in 140 characters or less.

Zinio is gaining popularity due in large part to readers becoming more receptive to on-screen or even mobile phone reading. The company has about 5 million customers worldwide, 3 million e-magazines and text books every month, and a catalog of over 1,700 magazines and 30,000 books available for downloading. With Zinio coupon codes, these figures might shoot even farther up.

Pervasent Partners with Zinio to Develop Best-In-Class Mobile App for Digital Reading on iPad

Pervasent Partners with Zinio to Develop Best-In-Class Mobile App for Digital Reading on iPad

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) April 19, 2010

Pervasent, an innovative solutions-builder for organizations looking to maximize the iPhone, iPad, Android and other mobile channels, today announced its achievement of reaching #1 in the Apple Apps Store’s “news” category, with its recent release of a free iPad application, created in partnership with Zinio, the world’s largest newsstand.

The free application, which launched on April 3, offers over 2,000 top consumer magazines for purchase from around the world, including many top brands, some specifically optimized for an interactive reading experience such as Car and Driver, Dwell, Macworld, National Geographic, Spin, Sporting News and VIVmag.

The Zinio App for iPad features an impressive global magazine newsstand that enables iPad users to shop for subscriptions and single-copy issues with a swipe of their fingertips. The Zinio App for iPad also includes a personal, synchronized library across many devices and an intuitive, interactive reading experience.

“While the iPad is compact in size, the technology for processing and delivering Zinio’s digital assets to an unreleased and unseen device required tremendous effort,” explained Jess Taylor, President of Pervasent.

“The Zinio application needed to maximize every inch of the multi-touch display, while ensuring a responsive, engaging experience within the iPad’s memory constraints. Pervasent leveraged its development expertise to produce the successful Zinio App for iPad, which immediately shot to the top-ranked free apps.”

Making full use of iPad’s Multi-Touch display and full-color fidelity, the Zinio App offers an unparalleled reading experience with unique added benefits. Unlike most apps, which are designed for specific devices, the Zinio app marries the rest of the Zinio UNITY™ platform to enable readers to pay once for a publication, to be enjoyed across multiple platforms and devices including their iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or personal computer.

With the Zinio App for iPad, readers can move seamlessly within each magazine page between text, interactive graphics, animated illustrations, videos and much more. Their fingertips determine the experience — enlarging photos, launching web pages from advertisements and editorial, viewing videos, how-to guides and slideshows, and instantly sharing articles with friends, family and co-workers.

“To meet the iPad launch date, we needed to execute a multi-dimensional project in six weeks that typically would have required six months of work,” explained Rich Maggiotto, President & CEO, Zinio. “After previously working with Pervasent on our successful Zinio iPhone App, we were confident they could collaborate as an extension of our team to help deliver a product that would exceed expectations.”

Pervasent will continue to partner with Zinio to enhance the Zinio App for iPad, with expectations to continuously add capabilities and features.

Zinio for iPad

Zinio for iPad

for long years I have used Zinio application and it is completely enjoyful to utilize. Currently I have downloaded this application in my iPod Touch. And I have heard about that it is also coming for iPad shortly. But I don’t have much knowledge about this application, I want to more about this application, so can anyone will help me, please.

Re: Zinio for iPad
Zinio is honestly one of the most electrifying features of the iPad for me. Zinio for computer just doesn’t actually cut it. There is presently nothing actually exciting regarding reading magazines on a monitor and with the help of mouse. I need it in front of me, where I can sprawl back and read it at my relaxation, touch the pages.

Re: Zinio for iPad

Zinio one of the major players in digital publishing, it has recentlyannounced the launch of its iPhone application in addition to its digital service already available on computer. Zinio indeed responsible for the deployment of several thousand digital magazines with significant references such as The Economist, Business Week, National Geographic and even Playboy.

Re: Zinio for iPad
While many publishers engage in the digital distribution strategy with a title = platform, Zinio stands for unity, centralization of the catalog so that readers can explore and enjoy a selection of magazines from anywhere any device anywhere in the world. Zinio is one of the wonderful application for mobile device in the world. And it is also very useful.

Re: Zinio for iPad
Unlike the stand or Relay, Zinio is happy for the moment to propose to issue a purchase, or for a year subscription to the magazine of its choice. It nevertheless has a striking force and a catalog large enough to attract new publishers, expanding its offer and user satisfaction. It is the best magazine reader application for iPhone, iPod touch and now it comes for a iPad.

Re: Zinio for iPad
In terms of technical implementation, version iPhone even now also needs a little work, such as the ability to buy directly from the application address. The navigation on it is more satisfying. It is thus possible can view the digital version of a magazine by zooming in on the items or use the ‘Read’ to access a text transcript of the article.
